I walked in this morning and Megan asked to write Mrs. Brown (my principal) a persuasive note about how to help kids with negative lunch balances. I told her, "sure but don't forget about OREOs" (Opinion, Reason, Explanation, and Restating Opinion). I was blown away with how thoughtful her letter was.

Next week will be our last week of school. I wanted to prepare a Father's Day card before it gets lost in the mix of activities prepared for next week. Lakeshore Learning has a fabulous reproducible activity that turned out GREAT!! The kids created a pattern on the tie, used the instructions to create their shirt, and borrowed the poem or created their own.
